Vaspurakan means "noble land" in Armenian. In the 9th century, it was one of the most powerful principalities of Greater Armenia under the Artsruni dynasty. It was considered the "promised land," a paradise on earth. The princes of Vaspurakan were great builders: they erected 10 cities, thousands of fortresses, and churches within a short period of time.
Maturation:
15 years in Armenian oak barrels

Elegant, with notes of spices, oak bark and dried fruits.
Soft, round and noble in the mouthfeel.
The finish is long-lasting, balsamic and slightly bitter.
