Description:
This robust red wine from the noble Areni grape variety captivates with its bright pomegranate hue with scarlet reflections. The grapes come from the high altitudes of Vayots Dzor and are air-dried for 2–3 months according to a centuries-old tradition. A cold maceration of a portion of the harvest lends the wine its opulent aromatics.
The complex bouquet is dominated by red and black berries—currant, blueberry, and sour cherry—complemented by notes of sweet spices, hazelnut, and peppermint. A wine with depth, elegance, and expressiveness.
